MartinFederal Teams With BearingPoint

MartinFederal and BearingPoint (www.bearingpoint.com) has teamed up to provide value added quality services to the federal government & defense sectors. This teaming arrangement is an important indication to the organization itself and the industries it serves of MartinFederal's capabilities and continued focused growth strategy in the South. BearingPoint, a key Management & Technology Consulting organization with revenues in excess of $3.4B, seeks to partner/team with organizations that will "enhance their market offerings, bring value to their clients, and align with their market strategy" - they found those qualities in MartinFederal.

On a similar note, MartinFederal seeks to team and partner with only the highest of integrity and quality of organizations, as can be seen by the organizations current teaming partner portfolio. MartinFederal's President & CEO stated that "when organizations look at Teaming Arrangements (TA), it must be an arrangement that creates a "win win" environment for all involved - it must make business sense. You have to weigh the pros and cons from a capability standpoint as well as how the organizations complement one another in respect to their visions, service offerings, and more than not, mission strategies. We are honored that BearingPoint has placed their confidence in MartinFederal and as always, I challenge the MartinFederal Team in making all of our teaming arrangements and partnerships a tremendous success".

MartinFederal teams with HMS Technologies

MartinFederal has teamed with award winning HMS Technologies (www.hmstech.com) to provide quality cost effective solutions to the DoD and federal government. Over the past four years, HMS has achieved great success in providing cost effective, on time solutions to clients such as the U.S. Department of Agriculture, the U.S. Department of Transportation, the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs, the U.S. Department of Health & Human Services, the U.S. Department of Labor, and the U.S. Defense Modeling & Simulation Center just to name a few.

This teaming arrangement was a strategic move for both organizations in that the visions, missions, geographic alignment, and services offered provided synergy within organizations that are already noted for their integrity and service to country. MartinFederal certified as a HUBZone small business concern

On 11/15/2007, MartinFederal was notified by the Small Business Administration (SBA) that it had successfully completed the process of being certified as a HUBZone small business concern (SBC). This was a great milestone in MartinFederal's growth strategy in that along with being certified as a Service-Disabled Veteran Owned Business (SDVOB), MartinFederal now has access to another program which allows for preferential set-asides and sole-source government contracts. HUBZone qualified companies are eligible for price evaluation preference of up to 10% when bidding on federal contracts, FAR 52.219-4. When submitting a bid, the contracting officer adds a factor of 10% to all other offers applied on a line item basis or to any group of items on which award may be made.

The HUBZone certification achievement also strengthens MartinFederal's position for teaming/partnering with larger prime contractors as all subcontracting plans for large business must include a HUBZone subcontracting goal; the program provides evaluation credits for prime contractors who achieve their subcontracting targets. In addition, large companies engaged in the federal market can also benefit by partnering with MartinFederal to pursue HUBZone set-asides for which the large business would not normally qualify.
